3.16. Disclose
non-public information of ELPER Automotive
Systems to anyone and especially to friends or
relatives who work in companies that ar
considered competitors or potential competitors.
3.17. Promote
lectures, courses, seminars, etc. whithin
entities and/or associations related to ELPER
Automotive Systems' internal interests, without
first submitting their material for
consideration and approval of the superior.
3.18. Behave,
during professional activities, with attitudes
that discriminate people on grounds of color,
gender, religion, origin, social class, age or
deficiencies.
3.19. Utilize equipments or other resources
of the company for private purposes.
3.20. The
users
of the network, email, internet and printers
shall be aware of the Network Use Policy,
available at the company's intranet, when
signing the Commitment Letter contained in this
document.
3.21. Speak
on behalf of the company without prior approval
from at least one of the directors.
3.22. Avoid
providing information and/or clarifications to
the Committee when requested to do so. The
Ethics Commitee will subject facts that are not
foreseen within this Code to evaluation.
Examples of expected behavior, compatible with
the company's values and with its pursuit for
results, are:
A. Honestly acknowledge mistakes, communicating,
timely, to the supervisor.
B. Argue against any guidance that conflict with
the principles and values contained in here.
C. Present constructive critics and suggestions
with the purpose of improving work quality, as
well as to improve the company's results.
D. Denounce bribery attempts, sabotage or other
anti-ethical or illegal attitudes, known to him
or to which he had been subjected.
4. ETHICS COMMITTEE
ELPER Automotive Systems will keep an organized
Ethics Committee that will have the following
specifications in terms of members, attributions
and working methods:
4.1. The
Ethics Committee has 3 members, named:
Directors, Managers, Coordinators or Experts
Employees
The committee members will have a 3 (three)
years term to serve, and its composition shall
be broadly known within the company. The
participation as Committee member does not
establish any guarantee of employment stability
or additional remuneration.
The committee members are equally subjected to
the contents of this Code.
